Saturday 10th November
Do come to a concert in Hever Church on Saturday 10 November to mark the momentous year that was 1918. It was the end of World War I and the beginning of votes for women….. Meanwhile flu took its toll, and the housewives of Hever carried on making jam!
The performers are all local and much of the material has a local connection. Tickets are £7.50 on the door or from Joanna Wade 07958 919631.
Sunday 11th November 10.45

World War One Exhibition
Until 31 December in Hever Parish Church
Silhouettes of the 9 Hever men who lost their lives in the WWI have been placed in the pews in church together with a little info about who they were and where they fitted into the community.
There is also a great art work at the entrance to the church put together by Hever Primary School. It was inspired by the work of Sir Michael Morpurgo.
