Plus there’s the lovely family Crib & Carol Service on Christmas Eve at 4.0pm at Hever. We hope to see you at at least one of these special Christmas services to welcome the new King’s birth.

6.00pm Choral Carol Service – Markbeech. Mulled wine and mince pies in the village hall afterwards.
Friday 16th December
7.00pm Nine Lessons and Carols – Hever church – for the whole community
8.00pm Carol Supper in the village hall – contact the Hever churchwardens to book.
Sunday 18th December
3.00pm Carols in the church garden – Four Elms.
5.00pm Pub Carols in the Kentish Horse – a very jolly singalong.
Christmas Eve Saturday 24th December
10.30pm Midnight Communion Hever
Christmas Day Sunday 25th December
9.15 am Christmas Sung Eucharist – Markbeech
11.00am Christmas Day Communion – Four Elms

A big THANK YOU to everyone who baked, helped set up, tidied up, shopped, sponsored and came to support our Christmas Fair at Hever Castle & Gardens! Once again we managed to raise over £5,000 for our local church and school and we are really pleased with the result! Thank you, thank you all!!!!
Come and join us on Sunday afternoon for a wonderful, jolly, informal gathering to sing even more Christmas carols. Steve Thompson will lead the merriment at 5.00pm in the Kentish Horse, Cow Lane, Markbeech.
Following the Nine Lessons & Carols Service in the church at 7.00pm, on Friday 18th December, Hever PCC warmly invite you to join them for a 2-course hot supper in Hever Village Hall.

The choir have been busy rehearsing, the readers are all prepared, the wine is ready for mulling. This year there is a French theme thinking of our friends in Paris.
Please join us for some lovely music and afterwards in the village hall for mince pies and Glögg (Swedish mulled wine).
Markbeech Carol service is today at 6.00 pm at Holy Trinity church.
All around the village people are preparing! Jars are being labelled, spices are steeping, supplies are being gathered so that all is ready for Saturday at noon. Come and make our efforts worthwhile by joining us at our annual bazaar. Buy some yummy goodies, get ahead on your Christmas presents and save on making lunch by enjoying a delicious quiche or home made soup.
