Our Choirs

Markbeech Church Choir

Markbeech choir, directed by Charles Talbot, sings on the first Sunday in the month for the 9.15am Communion service and also for special events and festivals. Choir practices are usually at 10.00am on the Saturday before the service or by arrangement. The music, which is sung in full harmony, is varied and sometimes challenging but is much enjoyed by singers and congregation. It is an advantage, but not essential, to be able to sightread music. Children are very welcome. Interested? Ring Charles Talbot on 01342 850526

Hever and Four Elms Choir

We are urgently looking for a new choir leader to revivify the choir for Hever and Four Elms churches. These two beautiful churches have equally beautiful choir stalls that should be filled with choristers regularly and until recently we achieved this. If you have experience, enthusiasm and vision and understand what it takes to motivate singers in a rural community please get in touch to discuss further.
